Dr. PAUL SUDNIK

A product of Leeds University's well-respected School of Textile Industries in the 1970's, Paul has built a career in general management that has encompassed experience in the textile and packaging sectors with such reputable companies as Levi Strauss & Co. and Tetra Pak. He has worked in a number of international locations in both Asia and Europe, most notably in Hong Kong , Greece and Poland . He has filled roles ranging from Marketing Manager, Eastern Europe to Managing Director, Mediterranean Region and was responsible for the Central and Eastern European Region for Amcor, the Australian packaging conglomerate.
In Poland he created a new business where none had existed and, through the formulation and implementation of an overall development strategy for the country, set the foundations for Poland to become a vitally important European market to the Tetra Pak group today.
Paul has continually developed his interest in the theory and practice of management and has acquired an almost unique view of contemporary management issues. This perspective has been refined through academic study (Paul holds an MBA degree from Manchester Business School ) and practitioner qualification (he is also a Chartered Director of the IoD). Paul's most notable achievement in tackling the integration of theory and practice in management has come in his recent doctoral work that was set in the Greek subsidiary of a multinational company. It is a rare piece of pragmatic research into customer relationships, key account management and customer satisfaction.
Paul's current consulting interests centre on working with SMEs and with helping them develop all aspects of professional management practice. Most recently he has worked with a co-operative bakery in Poland that has doubled its sales turnover over a period of 18 months.
Coming from a sales and marketing background Paul has specific expertise in the areas of business development, marketing and sales strategy and Public Relations as a means of building organisational reputation.
